FC Mobile Beta guides
From the second app icon to mid-match mentality swaps.
This hub is the tutorial map for the EA SPORTS FC Mobile Limited Beta. The test is short — 25 August to 13 September 2026 (UTC) — so the pages below are ordered the way a tester actually spends the first two evenings: get the separate app, survive Guest login, then learn the three systems EA asked you to feel (PlayStyles, Game Plans, Gauntlet).
If you only open one child page tonight, make it getting started. If the Play Store hides the listing, jump to how to download and the beta access checker. iPhone testers should skip straight to iOS TestFlight.

The Limited Beta is not a live-game patch. Searching “FC Mobile” in the store still shows the season you already play. You need the listing titled EA SPORTS FC Mobile Limited Beta. The download guide covers Android countries, first-launch region checks, TestFlight invites, and why random APKs are a poor substitute. Pair it with Limited Beta notes so you are not surprised that Guest is the only login.
Start here if the app is already installed
Getting started is the first-session script: Guest rules, what not to spend time on (IAP, codes, account linking), and a 45-minute loop that touches every new mode. After that:
- PlayStyles guide — 18 identities plus four extras in this build (Incisive Through Pass, Dead Ball, Driven Lob Through, Slide Tackle).
- Game Plans — four saved formation + mentality combos you can swap during a match.
- Gauntlet Mode — rounds, House Rules, appearance limits, Stars.
- Controls — touches, skill moves, and how PlayStyles change the same swipe.
- iOS TestFlight — the only official iPhone path when Play Store is not the problem.
How these guides connect to rankings
Tutorials explain the button. Rankings explain the priority. After you score with a Gold Finesse Expert, open the PlayStyles tier list. After you save an Ultra Attacking 4-4-2 and a Defensive 5-back, open the formations tier list. Guest squad construction lives on squad building. That split keeps this hub from turning into a single 8,000-word scroll.
What we will not bury in a generic “tips” page
Codes are a live-game topic. They have their own hub at codes because they do not feed the Guest inbox. Updates and the calendar sit under updates. Device and country checks sit under tools. If a paragraph on a guide starts to duplicate those hubs, we link out instead of pasting the same block. That is how we avoid the identical 400-word footer Google hates.
Suggested two-night plan
Night one. Install. Complete a PvE match with the default squad so you see PlayStyle indicators. Save two Game Plans (Balanced and Attacking). Do not grind currency — there is nothing to buy.
Night two. Enter Gauntlet with two distinct XIs plus benches. Note which House Rules punish your favorite formation. Write one forum post on what felt unfair. Then, if you still have energy, redeem live codes on the other icon so the club you keep after 13 September is not ignored.
Creator videos on child pages
Each tutorial that has a useful YouTube walkthrough embeds one video in the middle of the article, loaded only after you tap the thumbnail. We do not stack three videos at the bottom. If two creators covered the same Gauntlet explanation, we picked one and wrote the rest as text. Fake video IDs are not used.
When you finish a guide, use the sibling links at the bottom of that page — every child in this category points at the others on purpose. The controls page is the right last stop if the new slide-tackle PlayStyle is eating your center backs and you need the timing, not the lore.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers testers actually search for.
Which guide should a brand-new tester open first?
The getting started page, unless the store hides the app — then use how to download.
Are codes explained in these tutorials?
Only as a warning. Redeem live codes on the codes hub. The beta cannot claim them.
Where do I find PlayStyle rankings?
Read the PlayStyles guide first, then the PlayStyles tier list.
Is Gauntlet a ranked H2H mode?
It is a separate challenge mode with House Rules and appearance limits. Full rules are in the Gauntlet guide.
Do these guides apply after 13 September 2026?
The systems should land in the live season later. The Guest-only install steps will not. See what's new.
