FC Mobile Beta Rank Up Tokens and Live Codes
What redeem codes do for the live club, and why the Guest beta cannot use them.
Rank Up Tokens (trackers also say Rank Up Points) are a live FC Mobile currency. They are not a Limited Beta feature, and they are not something you apply to a Guest profile. If you opened this page from the beta app, the useful sentence is: codes at the EA redemption site land on the live Ultimate Team club that sits on your EA account. The standalone test app (com.ea.gp.fifamobilebeta) cannot receive them. This guide exists so testers stop mixing those two wallets.
The Limited Beta window is 25 August to 13 September 2026 (UTC). Login is Guest only. Account linking is off. In-game purchases are disabled. There are no rewarded ads. Progress does not carry over. That list is also the reason Rank Up does not happen inside the beta: there is no live economy attached to the profile.
What Rank Up Tokens are for (live club only)
On live FC Mobile, Rank Up Tokens are the resource you spend to push a player item up its rank ladder. Codes, events, and other live rewards can drop them in bundles — 100 at a time is a common promo size. They belong next to draft vouchers and player picks as live progression, not next to Gauntlet Stars or Guest OVR.
This wiki will not treat older live-economy stories (including 2025 talk about badges replacing older rank items) as official 2026 Limited Beta article content. EA’s August 2026 Limited Beta article covers Game Plans, Gauntlet Mode, four new PlayStyles, and the Guest rules. It does not ask you to rank Guest cards with live tokens. Several trackers marked the same codes expired by 2 September 2026. Promo windows are short. Try them once on the live account. If the site rejects the code, treat it as dead and move on. Always redeem on the EA redemption site while logged into the EA account linked to live FC Mobile. Then collect from the live in-game inbox. Restart the live app if the mail is slow. None of those steps touch the beta.
Why testers mix this up
The sports look the same. The PlayStyles look the same. The temptation is to treat a 100-token drop as a way to finish a Guest striker you liked in H2H. That path does not exist:
- The beta cannot link to the EA account that holds the tokens.
- The beta cannot make purchases that would mimic a rank-up.
- The beta club is deleted at the end of the window, so even a fantasy rank-up would be wasted.
Use the beta to learn which identities you want to rank later. If a Gold Rapid winger felt mandatory, that is a live-club shopping list. If Slide Tackle on a centre-back won you tackles you used to miss, that is a live-club ranking candidate. Spend NUMEROUNO-style tokens on those live items after you have notes, not during a Guest match.
How codes help the live club while you test
You can run both apps. A sensible split:
- Play the Limited Beta to test Game Plans, Gauntlet appearance limits, and the four new PlayStyles (Incisive Through Pass, Dead Ball, Driven Lob Through, Slide Tackle).
- When a live code drops, leave the Guest app, redeem on the live account, collect tokens or a player pick, and only then decide which live item deserves the rank.
- Return to the Guest app and keep testing. Do not rebuild the beta XI around a live 114–118 EPL card you cannot import.
Draft vouchers from AUFGEHTS-style codes are also live-only. They do not add a Guest draft. CLEANSLATE-style player picks do not appear in the beta inbox. If a tracker still shows a code as active and the live site accepts it, good — that is a live-club win during a week you happened to be testing.
What to do instead of ranking Guest items
Put the energy into roster depth and Game Plan overlap. The squad building page is the beta replacement for a rank-up plan: duplicate Rapid and Anticipate identities so Gauntlet appearances do not strand you, and save four formation-plus-mentality pairs so you can chase or protect without buying a new card.
OVR in the Guest pool is a starting number, not a ladder you climb with tokens. A Silver Clinical Finisher at a middling OVR is still the right striker if that is the identity you are testing. A clean end-of-session habit
After a beta session, write three live-club notes: which PlayStyle you want to rank first, which position was thin (that is where a CLEANSLATE-style pick would have helped the live team, not the Guest team), and whether Relentless or Accelerator mattered more than raw OVR across a Gauntlet round. Then check the codes hub once. Try whatever is still listed. If the live site says no, check expired codes so you do not waste the next session repeating it.
That habit keeps Rank Up Tokens in the only economy that can spend them. The Limited Beta remains a mechanics lab. The live club remains the place where 100 tokens and a draft voucher still mean a better item next week.
